What to do about the DIRTY OFFICE Kitchen SLOBS??
Recently, our boss has made the statement that if the office kitchen does not get cleaned up, and STAY clean, we will lose our kitchen privileges. I am a clean freak—so I try to stay out of that nasty area of the workplace—because I could spend ALL day in there cleaning. That is not what I get paid for, and I am not the slob people's mother. Some I noticed repeatedly leave messes, food, stains and dishes. I do not want to be the office whiner. What should I do—I want to use the kitchen, too!??
You may hate this answer, but i say clean it!!! And do it so good that you would praise yourself for the job. Dont say anything to anyone about how or why you did it or even that you did the job if they are not there when you do it. Let them praise you! And they will. and keep doing it. If they are so selfish that they leave it for you, their ego's will probably drive them to desire your praise enough to clean. And then you will
sit back and laugh and love my good advice.
