I have had this 13 piece knife set for over a month now. The knives arrived very sharp and I have found that they hold the edge very well. Using the sharpening tool that comes with it does the job if you follow the directions and method of sharpening that they recommend. It is nice to have the knives and scissors in one location, at my fingertips. I highly recommend this set.
Even though this knife is not made in germany like the ad tries to put out there, I was happy with my knives and the company was very helpfull in explaining how the process works on the german blade but processed in china .I still have a life time guarantee.J.A.
