I love this set! I’m redoing my kitchen smallwares in a red and black theme, and these set of spatulas are amazing. The mitt and trivet still feel a bit odd, but they do block heat. I was a bit nervous trying them out at first, envisioning them becoming a molten mess in seconds, but that didn’t happen and they work out great. I’m a bit of a purist, howver, so I’ll be looking for red and/or black oven mitts in the “old-fashioned” variety to add to my collection. The spatuals all have wooden handles, which is a plus, especially if you cook using spatuals and have had the misfortune of laying it on the side of a pan and have it melt. All in all, a wonderful buy!

I bought this set as a Christmas gift for my 11 year old niece (along with a cookbook) because she loves to cook and bake at home. Little did I know that my sister-in-law (her mother) would be using the items more than her! If you’ve never cooked with silicone accessories, be prepared to be amazed. They truly do not conduct heat and the spatulas in particular are so handy. This is a great set and I would strongly encourage any cook or budding cook to buy this set.
